Central Festival Phuket is a huge department store on Phuket island where has an air-conditioned, fully equipped shopping mall and lying outside of Phuket Town. If you are coming from Patong, Central will be on your left, before the main crossroads as you enter Phuket. Central Festival Phuket plays host to over 120 outlets selling products ranging from trouser to toothpaste, from Levi's to laptops. If there isn't at Central you probably didn't find it anywhere. It's literally possible to spend a full day here shopping, catching the latest movies, and dining out at the range of restaurants.

Phuket Walking Street is the latest attraction featured in Phuket Old Town as nowadays, people keen to shop on the open air shops on particular streets. Phuket Walking Street also known as a “Talad Yai” which means “Big Market” this weekly market started in 2013 and is hosted on the beautiful Thalang Road, right in the middle of the historical Sino-Portuguese district of Phuket Town. Thalang is a 350m-long commercial and Cosmopolitan Street along with Thai Muslim and Indian shops. Phuket Walking Street allows visitors to find some typical southern Thai culinary specialties as well as local handicraft and gift stalls. This weekly event is open every Sunday from 16:00 – 22:00.
